Integration ~ Building bridges to enhance community health

We are engaging allopathic practitioners in the integration of the complementary therapies offered in The Springs into the care of any patient coming to CSH&C. Our practitioners are actively working with staff in other hospital departments to create a truly integrated approach to treatment and providing staff education so that treatment plans can be appropriately designed and implemented.

Patients seeking care at the Hospital will be offered the appropriate therapies for their particular condition. All patients may receive a complementary 10-minute massage, with physician’s order, or request acupuncture treatment as part of their care. Visiting family members may make appointments for themselves in The Springs for services that will help reduce stress, improve overall health and give them some pampering.

Our goal is to incorporate all services in some way throughout the hospital to provide a more nurturing, personalized approach to care for inpatients and outpatients, as we continue to serve as a resource for the community.
